Overhead wires A, AS, ASK, ASKP

ACS, A, and ASKP wires are designed for overhead power lines, ensuring efficient electricity transmission. They are made of aluminum and steel cores and comply with GOST 839-2019.

Uninsulated wires for overhead power lines according to GOST 839-2019

A – a conductor consisting of a single or stranded copper wire. Used in air atmospheres of types II and III on land and sea in all macroclimatic regions according to GOST 15150, UHL version.

Structural elements: aluminum wire.

AS – wires consisting of a steel core and aluminum wires. Used for operation on land in regions with a temperate and cold climate. Installed in an atmosphere containing no more than 150 mg/m³•day of sulfur dioxide and less than 0.3 mg/m³•day of chlorides. The long-term permissible operating temperature of the wires should not exceed +90°C.

1. Core made of stranded steel wires:
— number of wires: 1, 7, 19, 37, or 61;
— nominal wire diameter: 1.50…4.61 mm;
— number of layers: 1…4.

2. Conductive part made of stranded aluminum wires:
— number of wires: 6, 18, 24, 26, 30, 42, 45, 48, 54, 72, 76, 84, 90, or 96;
— nominal wire diameter: 1.50…4.70 mm;
— number of layers: 1…4.

ASK – a conductor of the AC type, but with a steel core insulated by two layers of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film. The multi-wire steel core under the PET layer is coated with a neutral, high-temperature-resistant lubricant. Used on sea coasts, salt lakes, industrial areas, and saline sand regions, as well as adjacent areas with air atmospheres of types II and III, provided that the atmosphere contains no more than 150 mg/m² of sulfur dioxide and no more than 200 mg/m² of chloride salts. Suitable for all macroclimatic regions on land according to GOST 15150, UHL version, except for TV.

Structural elements:

1. Core made of stranded steel wires:
— number of wires: 1, 7, 19, 37, or 61;
— nominal wire diameter: 1.50…4.61 mm;
— number of layers: 1…4.

2. Core coating:
— absent in a single-wire core;
— neutral, high-temperature-resistant lubricant for multi-wire cores.

3. Core insulation made of two layers of polyethylene terephthalate film.

4. Conductive part made of stranded aluminum wires:
— number of wires: 6, 18, 24, 26, 30, 42, 45, 48, 54, 72, 76, 84, 90, or 96;
— nominal wire diameter: 1.50…4.70 mm;
— number of layers: 1…4.

ASKP – a conductor of the AC type, but the inter-wire space of the entire conductor, except for the outer surface, is filled with a neutral, high-temperature-resistant lubricant. Used on sea coasts, salt lakes, industrial areas, and saline sand regions, as well as adjacent areas with air atmospheres of types II and III on land and sea in all macroclimatic regions according to GOST 15150, UHL version.

2. Conductive part made of stranded aluminum wires:

3. The inter-wire space of the conductor is filled with a neutral, high-temperature-resistant lubricant.

ASKS – a conductor of the AC type, but the inter-wire space of the steel core, including its outer surface, is filled with a neutral, high-temperature-resistant lubricant. Used on sea coasts, salt lakes, industrial areas, and saline sand regions, as well as adjacent areas with air atmospheres of types II and III, provided that the atmosphere contains no more than 150 mg/m² of sulfur dioxide and no more than 200 mg/m² of chloride salts. Suitable for all macroclimatic regions on land according to GOST 15150, UHL version, except for TV.

— nominal wire diameter: 1.50…4.70 mm;
— number of layers: 1…4

Service life of the wires is at least:

– For wires of type A and AC – 45 years

– For wires of type ASKP – 25 years

– For wires of type ASK and ASKS – 10 years

The warranty period of operation is 4 years from the date of commissioning.
