Application Guidance Of OPGW And ADSS Cable fittings
1 .First-phase preparation
A. Data collection: including the transmission line manual (voltage, conductor, earth wire, insulator, tower parameter drawing), path graph, span list of the tower and practical meteorological conditions of optical cable, etc.,
B. Investigation of the major span op optical cable line, which mainly refers to the investigation of the safe distance of the crossing objects.
2. Needed parameters
A. Span: study and understand the first- phase prepared data carefully, and calculate the maximum span and ruling span of each strain section.
B. Drum length: power cable should be equipped with drums, the length of which should comply with the strain section of the power line and be compatible with the maximum produced length of the sag, topographic coefficient and connector allowance, etc.,
C. Sag tension Chart: the sag of optical cable is different from that of the transmission conductor, it needs to be ensured according to specific situation.
D. Calculation of the hanging point (ADSS): locate the hanging point by the potential distribution diagram of the tower, the construction safety and the tower load allowance.
E. Parameter index of optical cable: including outer diameter, weight, linear expansion coefficient, modulus and ultimate tensile strength, etc.,
F. Determine the number of fittings (including iron accessories) and the specifications.
Tension fittings: generally 2 sets of tension towers (one on each end).
Suspension fittings: generally one set per tower, for the large drop (100 < deflection angle Q < 150) or large span, double suspension fittings are recommended.
Down-lead clamp: generally used only for tension towers and terminal towers, and the installation interval is 1.5m to 2m per one.
3. Verification of the result
The design department and the lines department check the result together.
4. File arrangement
Including the detailed description of all kinds of spans, routes, number of fittings, and various drawings. Construction unit draws up a complete arrangement and method for construction according to the routing, crossing span, optical cable reservation in the whole systematic communication network, and makes adequate preparations before the construction.
Note: the configuration of the vibration damper also needs to be determined according to the model of OPGW and the - vibration damper, and movement tension,etc.
Tower accessories: the size must be confinried according to the situation of the tower, and the strength must accord with the power line (on-site confirmation is needed on special terrain).
