AACSR (Aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced) is a high-strength overhead transmission conductor consisting of aluminum alloy wires stranded concentrically around a galvanized steel core. It combines the excellent conductivity of aluminum alloy with the superior mechanical strength of steel, making it an ideal choice for long-span overhead transmission and distribution lines.
Compared with conventional ACSR conductors, AACSR provides higher strength-to-weight ratio, improved corrosion resistance, reduced sag, and longer service life. It is widely used in power transmission projects, river crossings, mountainous regions, coastal areas, and heavy ice-load environments.
Qingzhou Cable manufactures AACSR conductors according to ASTM B711, IEC 61089, GB/T 1179, BS, and AS standards. Customized conductor designs are available upon request.
