MV Aerial Bundled Cables (MV-ABC)

MV-ABC are suitable for aerial installation and for public power distribution networks with rated voltages of  6/10 Up to and including 18/30 KV, Fixed for pylons, clamped to tunnel walls , etc. Assembled cores are the same as the ones of MV underground cables. Hence, they can be buried if necessary.

Aerial Bundled Cable Steel Messenger 

• (Manufactured under IEC 60502-2 Standards)

• Cross section – 50mm2 (Approx. 9mm Diameter)

• Normal Thickness of PVC Sheath – 1.2mm (Produced under BS 3288-1 Standards)

• Minimum Break Load of 64kN

• Modulus of Elasticity – 1.6 GPs

• Co-efficient of Linear Expansion – 11 x 10-6 per °C

Tension Clamp Assemble

• Shall be hot dip galvanized

• Able to accommodate above mentioned steel messenger

• Supplied with U-channel fixing bracket that may be fixed to a pole by two 16mm diameter bolts

• The tensile strength of the hardwares shall be at least 70kN. The Slipping strength of the champ shoud be at least 95% of the rated tensile strength of the steel messenger.
